Our Leadership Team

John Bosserman

John is a Marine Corps veteran with over 20 years of federal contracting experience specializing in the development, test, fielding, and training of complex radar, command & control, and weapon systems. Prior to founding SigmaCorps in February 2019, John's roles included USMC Service Liaison to the Joint Staff including Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense and distributed test and certification organizations, Program Manager for systems engineering and testing of command and control, radar, and weapon systems, Operations and Technical Director for Defense Department industry partners with sales exceeding $85M, and Vice President for a global small business with operations around the world.

Rhonda
Ferris

Rhonda joined the SigmaCorps team in August 2019 as the CFO. She is a certified Project Management Professional and holds MBAs from both Kennedy-Western University and Walden University. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She also holds Masters’ Certificates in Commercial Contracts Management and Government Contracts Management from Villanova University. Rhonda is an active member of the Project Management Institute, the Institute of Management Accountants, the International Chapter of the American Association of Cost Engineering, the National Contracts Management Association, and the International Economics Honor Society.

Kevin
Forte

Joining SigmaCorps in 2019, Kevin brings over 15 years of federal security contracting experience focusing on emergency management, business continuity, and physical and personnel security. His experience spans the intelligence community with NGA and ODNI, Department of State, and Department of Defense. Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in military history and an undergraduate certificate in Terrorism and Homeland Security, he is also currently completing his MBA. Kevin is a Marine Corps veteran and has served at U.S. Embassies in Kiev, Ukraine, Wellington, New Zealand, and Lagos, Nigeria.

Deborah Knowles

Joining SigmaCorps in 2020, Deborah brings over 25 years of experience in Process Improvement, Program Management and Compliance Management expertise. Deborah was a member of the original Capability Maturity Model (CMM) appraisal teams in the early 2000s and has brought many organizations to new and sustainable CMMI maturity levels over the years as a mentor, trainer and appraiser. She has held many PM related roles within Fortune 500 companies as well as state and federal government agencies. Deborah led the SigmaCorps organization to 3 successful consecutive ISO 9001-2015 certifications and is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Quality System that is the underpinning of the SigmaCorps mission.

Our Company

SigmaCorps is proud of our foundation built on providing technical services to the U.S. Government, specifically the Department of Defense. Our Founder is a Marine Corps veteran who has supported the development, engineering, test, and fielding of Integrated Air & Missile Defense, Command and Control, information exchange capabilities, and kinetic and non-kinetic weapon systems for over two decades. Our DoD experience includes work across the Joint Staff, Department of the Navy, Marine Corps Systems Command and the Program Executive Office Land Systems.

Strategically situated across the United States, the SigmaCorps team is comprised of Subject Matter Experts, Test Engineers, Computer Scientists, Compliance Professionals, Program & Project Management Professionals, Data & Financial Analysts, Logisticians, Equipment Technicians & Specialists, Remote Unmanned Pilots, Database Engineers, and Data Managers.

Community Commitment

A regular demonstration of SigmaCorps’ commitment to giving back to the communities we serve is the “Annual Grounds Garbage Grab” event at our Stafford, VA headquarters. Because it sits on a well-traveled highway our location is seen by many people each day, so our local team conducts an annual litter cleanup around the entire property to help keep the premises tidy.

Not only does this enhance our own and our neighbors’ daily work environment, but it also benefits the surrounding businesses and neighborhoods by stopping the further spread of this pollution, aids local wildlife by maintaining a clean environment, and reinforces the esprit de corps among our team members.
